Instructions for Candidates
  1. Applicants are instructed to go through the Admission Notification for the course(s) offered at NIMHANS, available on the website www.nimhans.ac.in before filling the Application Form.
  2. Please read all instructions carefully before making the online entries.
  3. Applicants are instructed to verify and ensure that they are eligible under the concerned course for which they are applying. The application fee paid will not be refunded.
  4. Applicants are instructed to verify the PROSPECTUS and ensure that they are eligible under the concerned course for which they are applying. The application fee paid will not be refunded.
  5. Candidature, in case of erroneous options selected in the portal by the applicant, will not be considered.
  6. Mere submission of the application does not guarantee admission at NIMHANS.
  7. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / EWS or claiming Karnataka Domicile shall mandatorily attach the relevant document / certificate in the concerned field of the Application Form.
  8. Candidates applying under Sponsored / Deputed categories shall attach relevant documents in support of the same.
  9. Cut-off date for calculation of age shall be 01.09.2026.
  10. Documents to be uploaded shall be in PDF format only.
  11. Photograph and signature of the candidate shall be in JPG / JPEG format only.
  12. Kindly verify the data entered at each stage carefully, as it cannot be edited after final payment.
  13. NIMHANS will not take any responsibility in the event of non-payment or failure in submission of the application within the stipulated time.
  14. Any false information submitted by a candidate shall lead to legal action.
  15. Entrance examinations for all notified courses will be conducted at Bengaluru only.
  16. Kindly visit the official website www.nimhans.ac.in regularly for time-to-time updates.
  17. Please use the same mobile number and email ID throughout the entire examination process.
  18. Representation for refund of application fee will not be entertained under any circumstances unless the admission notification is cancelled by the Competent Authority.
